Christmastime Gospelfest

Join Shawn and the GospelFest Singers on Saturday, December 1st at 7:00pm at Five Points in Washington for the "Christmastime GospelFest!" This is quickly becoming a holiday tradition for families across central Illinois and this year promises to be better than ever! We'll be welcoming two very special guests to this year's concert: Ben Waites & Allison Speer! Ben is a former student of Shawn's at the Stamps-Baxter School of Music and has a wonderful solo ministry in his home state of Louisiana. Allison is no stranger to the GospelFest stage and we're so excited to have her joining us again this year!

This year's concert will feature wonderful traditional and southern southern gospel Christmas favorites and down-home fun! This year will also mark the debut of a brand new Christmas song, co-written by Shawn and Stephen Hill called "We're Coming Home for Christmas." This song was written this past spring, just a few months before Stephen's sudden passing in August. The Peoria Area Civic Chorale Youth Chorus will also be joining us on a couple songs and will be entertaining the audience in the lobby with some Christmas carols before the concert begins.

Tickets are available at Five Points Washington, Hoerr's Berean Bookstores and www.gospelfestradio.com. They are $20. Students high school and under are $10. Special group rates are as follows: 10-24 tickets are $18 dollars; 25 or more are $15 each. For more information call 309.472.0027.

Sunday, December 2nd, we'll be presenting a shortened version of the concert at Calvary Baptist Church in Normal, IL, at 6:00pm. This will be a non-ticketed event and a love offering will be taken.
